[During September 1945 when after defeating Hitler and getting victory over axis nations, allied nations were celebrating their victory and at the same time with mutual feeling of doubt/fear, the preparation for war was going on secretly. Important people of every victorious nation were showing their views on victory happily and there were abundance articles on victory in newspapers, at that time on the special request of news reporters Pujyapaad Srimajagadguru Maharaaj (highness) , by publishing the below mentioned holy advice gave a new ray of light to the civilised world.

Real victory is that which does not have a doubt of continuous defeat. By supressing external (current) enemies no one can actually achieve permanent victory because by doing this permanent suppression of enemies doesn’t happen. In true sense victory can be achieved by getting the control on internal enemies. Repression of internal enemy is the only permanent way of supressing external enemy because internal enemies only produce external enemies.
Internal enemies are- Lust, Anger, Greed, attachment, Pride and Envy. These internal shadarivarg (the six internal enemies), by making anything a cause can create enemies in this external world;
So if someone wants to experience happiness and peace by getting victory over all his enemies then he has to cut off lust, anger, greed, attachment, pride, envy(these six subtle enemies) which are the place of origin of all his external(gross) enemies. Without getting victory over this shadarivarg, external enemies can’t be rooted out- this is eternal.
This is proved by experience that whoever has got victory over these subtle internal enemies, the origin of their external enemies gets destroyed and his all enemies gets rooted out. Then his enemies cease to exist and he is actually considered to be a true winner. For him the treasure house of true permanent happiness and peace opens.
Those nation, who wants to establish happiness and peace in the world by keeping itself free from enemies, for them it is necessary that their leader must have got victory over internal shadarivarg, else it signifies that ‘swayam nashtaha paraannashayati’and ‘swayam bhrastaha praanbhranshayati’| (one who is destroyed also destroys others and one who is irreligious also makes others irreligious). The world history of last few centuries is the witness to the fact that the manager of powerful countries by getting moved by its internal lust, anger, greed, attachment etc has several times made earth blood stained. This is brutality. Those who have the responsibility of operating the nation, they should be especially thoughtful in their actions. By getting emotional with one’s feelings such as lust, anger, greed, attachment etc, and to put the whole world in distress is not humane and must not be our ambition.
How far the external enemies can be suppressed? After supressing one, and while being in fear preparing to supress the other ,and like this to always keep the world’s happiness and peace in doubt while being afraid, is not the symptom of enemy suppression and victory. And, unless and until we get victory over internal enemies, the circumstances will remain like this. Therefore this is very important that the leader of nation must have got victory over his internal shadarivarg. Such real victorious managers can only show the path of permanent happiness and peace to the society, nation and world successfully.
To get victory over lust and people who are enraged is not very difficult. Without understanding, people consider it impossible. Many people have drawn a conclusion that only the Mahatma’s, following a refrained path can get victory over shadarivarg; but this assumption is only based on ignorance. The follower of refrained path gives up the root cause (worldly behaviour) of lust and anger. For him the question of getting victory or defeat on it doesn’t arise. Only he can be considered as the winner of shadarivarg who is always inclined towards his behaviour; but lust, anger etc cannot enforce its ownership on him. Enemy should always be able to get the opportunity to strike, but because of his incompetency/disability he should fail to strike; then only it can be considered that he is suppressed and defeated. Inclination towards behaviour is not resistant in getting victory over shadarivarg.
To get victory over origin of world’s every enemy, the group of subtle enemy, it’s not needed to make rana chandi (war spirit) awake and to keep the world restless between life and death by doing years of physical preparation, for this it is needed to be thoughtful in action and to become samadarshi (man of equal vision).
He is called samadarshi who has correct vision- a person who visualises anything as it is, is called samadarshi- there occurs no difference between the originality of the thing observed and the attitude/view of the observer, the balance and similarity between the two is always present. He has the true experience of matter/substance in his vision, means he doesn’t get misconception. If the world is illusive, he doesn’t enforce allegation of truth in it; as Brahma is true, he considers it to be true. When the idea of deceptiveness of the world and the immortality of the soul becomes stronger to a man then he becomes samadarshi. And then he visualises every substance in its real aspect/nature.
The deceptiveness of the world means- because of its changing nature its ephemerality (concept of thing being transitory). No additional learning is required to understand this- Everybody is directly experiencing that everything in this world is destructible, tragic (ending in separation), every substance either very subtle or very gross is variable (changing) in nature. Every creature views directly that so many organisms gets created and perishes in front of him. It is well known to everyone that my ancestors are not anymore and one day I will also be no more. This is only world’s ephemerality. In order to understand this more effort is not needed. Human being is getting the direct experience of it day and night but still he doesn’t give a thought on it.
Whosoever has once being careful, by properly contemplating/considering, thoughtfully made world’s ephemerality strong in his heart he can only get victory over internal shadarivarg; because to which human being;
the whole temporal world’s ephemerality becomes strong, he cannot be greedy and attached to anything; because he knows that for which he will be greedy and attached today, tomorrow it’s going to change; therefore unnecessary greed and attachment will lead to disturbance and repentance in return; hence greed and attachment doesn’t get germinated deep inside his heart. The seed (cause/origin) itself of these gets destroyed and when greed and attachment becomes seedless (extinct), then envy also becomes rootless (ungrounded/baseless). He doesn’t envy anyone also. He cannot be proud of any temporal assets, wealth, son, knowledge etc. Because of the extinction of greed, attachment, pride and envy, behavioural anger also extinct (becomes baseless) in him. The desires/wishes of this type of human being becomes limited and devoted to God and he performs all his duties with intellect. His behaviour happens to be according to sastras (religious books) by instinct and his life in the world remains unclutched and clean like lotus leaf. This kind of samadarshi active human being can only be considered as the winner of shadarivarg- external enemies
of such human being doesn’t exist- his monotony rules the whole nature- no one can be able to break his kingdom of peace. Such samadarshi great winner can be the successful demonstrator of path of permanent happiness and peace in the world.
Astu (so be it)! To get victory over internal shadarivarg is only the best real victory, and to get this great victory human being should always keep on trying for it.
