P 9 10 Prayer

I praise Brahmananda Saraswati, the most excellent among the gurus, the supreme lord of Jyotirmath who loves the king of the kings of ascetics, who has the chakra of the chief of the yogis as his weapon, who gives the fruits of the four classes, who is well known, who is covered with the lustre of liberation, who spreads the sounds of the waves of bliss arising from yoga (the union of the individual soul with the cosmic soul), who is the lord of the three worlds, who is gracious and kind.

I worship the great lord of Jyotishpeeth, the most excellent among the gurus, who is God present before the eyes, who with his two lotus feet appears to be Lord Brahma in person, who is a wave of tenderness, who is the universal lord, inactive in the beginning, who among the learned ones is endowed with streams of bliss, who in his meditation by going beyond the parts to the wholeness, to the light, is non-dual and infinite.

I praise him the Gurudeva who is the dwelling place of the devas, the supreme lord of Jyotirmath, who creates bliss for all people, who is the most excellent among the great Lords, who is Shiva in bodily form, who is endowed with the quality of sattva, who helps all people, who has the light to awaken the path described by the scriptures, who is peaceful and restrained and who destroys the three afflictions of all people.

I worship Brahmananda Saraswati, the most excellent among the gurus, who is God present before the eyes, by whose grace the ocean of the leela with the best salty taste, which is the nectar of the stories of the saints found in the scriptures, very charming, transcendental, beyond the three gunas, an excellent state unfathomable creating bliss for all beings — shines brilliantly in the world.

At whose door the whole galaxy of gods pray for perfection day and night. Adorned by immeasurable glory, preceptor of the whole world, having bowed down at His feet, we gain fulfilment. Skilled in dispelling the cloud of ignorance of the people, the gentle emancipator, Brahmananda Saraswati, the supreme teacher, full of brilliance, on Him we meditate.
